Hello Stitch Fix followers, check out where our fellow Stitch Fixers are speaking this month.

Mill Valley, California

Eric Colson, our Chief Algorithms Officer, will be at Venturebeat TRANSFORM: Leveraging AI & analytics for growth on August 21-22. He is part of the “Fireside Chat: What it Means to be Data-Driven in the Era of AI (not every company can do this)” at 3:40pm on August 21.

London, England

Christopher Moody, from our AI Instruments team, is in London at KDD 2018. He will be presenting a hands-on tutorial on August 23rd covering “Building Custom Deep Recommendation Engines”.

New York, NY

Kevin Zielnicki, from our Styling Algorithms team, will be at jupytercon on August 24. He presents his talk titled “Explorations in reproducible analysis with Nodebook” at 2:40pm. The talk gives an overview of Nodebook, an extension to the Jupyter Notebook that imposes constraints on the notebook model in exchange for greater consistency while keeping the exploratory interactivity that makes the notebook model so useful.

San Francisco, CA

Aaron Bradley and Stefan Krawczyk from our Data Platform team, will be giving a meetup talk on “How to increase your A/B test velocity”. It’ll cover why you should think about going beyond t-tests and using regression for analyzing A/B tests, as well as peek inside how we’re making this part of our experimentation platform. This is being hosted at Crunchbase, on August 28th at 6:30pm.
