San Francisco

KDD2016 is right around the corner! Brad Klingenberg, from our Styling Algorithms team, helped organize the Machine Learning Meets Fashion workshop. In addition to Brad’s talk, we have two groups of team members presenting papers: Kurt Bollacker, Natalia Díaz-Rodríguez and Xian Li are presenting their paper “Beyond Clothing Ontologies: Modeling Fashion with Subjective Influence Networks”, and Roberto Sanchis Ojeda, Daragh Sibley and Paolo Massimi are presenting their paper “Detection of fashion trends and seasonal cycles through the analysis of implicit and explicit client feedback”.

Additionally, we are hosting Alyssa Frazee from Stripe as the next speaker in our Multithreaded Speaker Series on August 23rd. Sign up to hear Alyssa’s talk here!

Katherine Livins, from our Styling Algorithms team, will be presenting at the Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society (CogSci 2016).

Nick Kridler is presenting at PyData Chicago 2016 on his open-source package Pyxley.
